you know what, the Browns beat the Giants, and you know what, we still have to beat them AND the Redskins, Why don't you stop looking forward? and focus on the current week, this has been a long time coming, but I can't stand it anymore, you are going on my ignore list. I can't believe that I am putting a fellow Eagle fan on ignore, lol Im sure you'll have some dumbass response like, I know they have to win against the Browns, but I was just saying that the cowboys game could be real important!" lol way to state the obvious, but the good thing is, I won't be reading it...anymore, lol

Sometimes you go a little bit overboard on the kid. This time it's definitely just a predisposed hatred showing itself. It's not like he's a player on the team. There were a lot of games I was "looking forward to" before the season even started and that one was definitely one of them. Yes we need to win two more games for it to have any meaning on our playoff lives, but what is he supposed to say to a Cowboy fan? "Get out of this thread, I can't think about your team for another three weeks"? Hell, he even said it "could" be an important game, not "will" be. You're jumping on him for nothing here. "The good thing is" his statement was never directed at you, so you didn't have to read it or react to it in the first place. He was simply making small talk with a Cowboy fan who congratulated us (thanks, btw) on the win. It's not as if he was trying to make a profound statement. Put him on ignore, because you really need to lay off the guy. That said, I agree about the Browns. They scare me just as much as the division opponents. Not just because that they showed they can hang with the best team in football, but because it has all the makings of being a trap game (except for the primetime start). We just beat the best team in football on the road the week before and have to go play a division opponent on the road again the next week. It would be very easy for some players to overlook the Browns. Hopefully they don't though and the fact that they have their backs against the wall in every game will kick in a sense of urgency from now til our season is over.
add to that we should most likely be facing ken dorsey, If we lose that game then we deserve to be lined up and shot. I really wish donavon knew about the tie rule, lol and it's nothing against baskett personally, I just really hate stupidity and people that say dumb crap that could be avoided with about 2 seconds of work by the foolish person, it's not my fault if baskett repeatedly exposes himself in this manner. I can't help my pet peeves, but I really freaking hate stupidity and the lack of any motivation to do anything to change it.
Thank you for proving my point he has nothing better to do. I dont know what it is but he jumps on me for everything lol. It could just be me talking to someone else and he just jumps in out of no where.
No way is it a trap game. We need to win every single game desperately. No such thing as a trap game at this point.

I see what you're saying and maybe "trap game" isn't the best term for it, but I'm still worried that, though it has the same importance as the rest of our games ( and I guess you could say it has more right now since those other games mean nothing if we don't win this one), because it's sandwiched in between two division games against opponents that many would label "much tougher" than the Browns, it might cause the players to play with less urgency and have the Skins and Giants in the back of their minds. (Sorry for the longest run-on sentence ever :icon_mrgreen: ) In 2006 we had to beat a division foe in three straight games. This year, we have a "break" in between those intra-division games. I hope I'm very wrong, which I probably am, but it's something I can't help but worry about right now.
From the players conferences i have seen they definitely have the urgency and will play every team hard. There back is against the wall and they know a loss could mean its over for them.
