Philadelphia Phillies baseball personnel have been asking pointed questions about Minnesota Twins outfielder Delmon Young, the former overall No. 1 draft choice of Tampa Bay, sources told the Daily News. The Phils are believed to be looking for a replacement for Pat Burrell, who is not expected to re-sign. The Twins are apparently willing to listen to offers for Young but a potential snag from the Phillies perspective is that they almost certainly would ask for top prospect Jason Donald and are also seeking bullpen help.

Meh, he's really not that good. If we can get him for a couple low level prospects then it would be a good move for us, because he's probably around the same level now as some of the cheaper alternatives on the market and he has more upside. However, I've heard the Twins like Donald, who's one of our top prospects and developing fast. In that case, I'd rather have Juan Rivera.
