Suns Trade For Jason Richardson

    For the second straight season, the Phoenix Suns have made a significant midseason move. The Suns on Wednesday acquired explosive guard Jason Richardson from the Bobcats in exchange for guard Raja Bell and forward Boris Diaw. Phoenix also gives up rookie point guard Sean Singletary, and will receive second-year forward Jared Dudley and a 2010 second-round draft choice.

    Last night they put up a good show against the lakers with only 8 active. I was impressed and want to partially retract my last statement.

    This will be interesting w/ Nash and Richardson. I presume Barbosa will be key off the bench. His minutes will probably decrease though.

    Good point Mike. Phx though seems to be changing their entire persona. More defense oriented. We'll see if Amare and Nash can play D every play.
