Eagles' Hanson Making Sheppard Disappear

IF YOU HAD trouble spotting Lito Sheppard on the field Sunday during the Eagles' 20-14 win over the Giants, there's nothing wrong with your eyesight. Except for a few special-teams appearances, he didn't play. The reason Sheppard, a one-time Pro Bowler, spent Sunday as his team's unused No. 4 corner is because right now the Eagles are a much better defense with Joselio Hanson on the field as their nickel corner than they are with Sheppard.

......OR they aren't much of a worse one and he pissed the boss off with his snitching.

 

Hanson is a terrific nickel back. The guy has gotten better and better every year. I say we take what we can get for Lito at the end of the year and resign Hanson to a mild extension.

 

Did you click on the article and read the stats of how much better the pass defense has been since Hanson took over at the nickel?

Ehhhh I attribute this small difference to the difference between the games more then Lito v Joselio.

 

We should just trade lito hes made some nice memory's over the years but hes not so good anymore.

 

There are many factors in it for sure, but that "small difference" means something in wins and losses. Hanson has played well. Lito hasn't.

 

I thought Joselio could have made Lito expendable before the season, but now there's no doubt.

 

again, should've traded lito. value will be all but gone after this year.
