He simply repeated what the radio hosts force-fed to him. And he didn't call them "choke-artists" in general, he said "the past two years they have been choke-artists". That's not an insult, it's the truth. A whole lot being made about nothing in the NL East this week.
Awesome interview. He fielded each question nicely. Nothing was hard about what he was asked but I wouldn't have been as nice considering I can't tolerate the mets.
Me thinks the Phils will still beat out the Mets in the NL East, again. The Mets Sept Collapse is almost as clockwork as a Yankee fan using 'How many rings does your team have?' as an insult.
