Though the Mets will likely no longer need to fear competition for Lowe from the Red Sox after Boston signed Brad Penny, the division rival Philadelphia Phillies also reportedly have some interest in Lowe.
it isnt that much but i think the phils are at their self imposed limit knowing they still have some of their own players going to arbitration.
Hopefully Boras has them by the balls. Their backup plan to Lowe is also one of his clients, so he knows if he works things right, he's guaranteed a big payday at the expense of Mr. Minaya.
