Calgary Stampeders Henry Burris may not have a Most Outstanding Player award but he has a Grey Cup ring. Sandro DeAngelis kicked five field goals as the Stampeders rallied from a 13-10 halftime deficit and rolled to a 22-14 victory over the Montreal Alouettes in the Grey Cup. Burris threw for 328 yards with one touchdown and one interception but DeAngelis was the star of the game.

Congratulations. I got one of these things laying around somewhere. It is amazing what a town will do for Championship Football. Remember the USFL Philadelphia, College Park, Baltimore Stars. Coached By Jim Mora and GM'ed by Carl Peterson. BALTIMORE is a Championship Charm City.

I dont know what would possess you to cheer for Montreal, but when it came down to it Calgary played a great game. It didnt take too long for Calgary to figure out Montreal's offensive strategy and with forces like Mike Labinjo, Montreal couldn't get the ball moving.

So glad to see Calgary win a championship, especially after the great season they had. Im even happier to have been there when they won.

I rooted for Calgary the whole way. I even put a nice bet on them in the vbookie event and they paid a nice little reward for doing so. I have been a stamps fan for a couple years now and I know that they have been robbed repeatedly over the past few years with a bunch of last minute defeats and being from Philly I can relate to that. Seeing them win the championship made me feel like the finally got their just due.

Go Stamps - repeat in 2009
