    I smell a poll.

Who can make a poll that decides who I root for?

Statistically this group is better. If you click the link it compares them.

Just think if that '91 unit was on this team. Akers' field goals is all we would need.

    Don't do it!

That group was 2nd in the league in points allowed.

I liked the veteran leadership on that team going into the postseason, however, our young guys are getting huge experience right now and only making them better. Wonder how this defense is going to be in a year or two!

What does worry me is losing Dawk. Demps has the size, speed, and athleticism to match what Dawkins has and he was a player in college, but those are some enormous shoes to fill.

You guys lost to the Redskins twice, how the heck can you think about winning anything:icon_confused:

This is definitely one of the quicker defenses we've had in Andy's time here and Mikell has played better than any SS we've had in a while. Our defensive line is probably also the most talented and deepest group Reid has had. I'd say this unit definitely has the potential to be better, but I'd like to see more out of them before relying solely on a statistical argument.

Because it didn't happen in the playoffs. :icon_thumleft:
