49ers quarterback Alex Smith has been scrutinized heavily and called a bust during his few years in San Francisco, although most people understand that hes had to deal with multiple offensive coordinators and probably hasnt gotten a fair shake in terms of what the organization provided him for success. Still, he hasnt been good, and hes still not starting for the Niners; and in a recent interview he talked quickly about how things would have been different if Norv Turner stayed in the Bay Area. Lets get one thing strait, fine Alex Smith might be a bust but that whole offense he was on was also a bust except for Gore. The fact that Turner almost made it seem like Smith was a legit QB is evidence that he may be the best OC of the past 20 years
He has no accountiblilty? Dude his shoulder got ripped out of his body, he took a huge pay cut, hes lost the starting job...what excuses did he really make except for his shoulder which is legitiment? Now im definitly not saying he can still be a great nfl qb and i dont wanna be like i hope hes our qb of the future cause even in his best year he had iffy decision making and bad accuracy. Im pissed off to btw, i mean we have SUCKED soooo terribly, but to say crap to ONLY alex smith and say crap like hes a pos, hes not commited to winning, you got your money who cares...thats a little much.
