Steve Wyche of NFL.com reports Denver Broncos players, most notably CB Champ Bailey, a team captain, are starting to have faith in head coach Josh McDaniels after a rocky start which resulted in the departure of former QB Jay Cutler. "The main thing, as one of the leaders of this team, is to buy into what the coach is doing. That way, the others follow," Bailey said after practice Monday, June 8. "You can't talk negative. I don't care if it is stuff that's real or not. You've got to be positive. You keep things positive, guys will feed into it and want to win for this guy." Source: NFL.com
McDaniels is going to be OK in Denver. His offense is going to be very friendly to whoever plays QB (Chris Simms IMO). His players will respect him, because in dumping Cutler he has shown them that they are all equal. When guys like Champ buy into a coach it gets contageous. My prediction is Denver goes 10 and 6 next year and McDaniels is coach of the year.
If the Broncos win 10 games next year I will start a thread saying you are smartest person on this board. This will never happen. And as far as coach of the year, no way. There are many rookie head coaches that have a better chance of winning that award. Hell if Spags can win 8 games with the Rams he might even deserve it, but that aint happening either
Im sure his offense is friendly, but the defenses that he will be facing this year wont be. ill be shocked if he gets 7 wins this year. and he still didnt fix that his defense lol
No way they 10 games. They will be win about 5-6 games. They still haven't fixed the Defense. The Defense has one of the worst for the past couple of seasons. They are shifting to 34 which requires time not to mention they don't have personnel for a 34.
