A prosecutor is opposing former Ohio State football star Maurice Clarett's request for early release from prison. Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien says Clarett hasn't made a strong case that he should be released so early in his prison term. Clarett was sentenced in September 2006 to serve at least 3 1/2 years for a holdup outside a Columbus bar and a separate highway chase that ended with police finding loaded guns in his SUV. Soooo you'd vote no on clemency?:icon_cheesygrin: He needs to serve his time. Period. He will never be a productive member of society.
I doubt that the league is a consideration for this clown, probably more interested in just getting out of the can. And if I were in prison I'd make a pitch for clemency too - right after I proclaimed my innocence.
Agreed. I'll extend that to all College Football recent history. Maybe because he was pretty good. I've never been a Buckeyes fan but I really enjoyed watching him play.
