Pitcher's Duel Or Slugfest, Which Do You Prefer?

This was a poll that the Mets put up tonight. It was almost 50-50 in voting. I'm curious which others here would prefer to watch.

 

That depends on if the Marlins are winning or losing.

 

I prefer a pitchers duels because of the suspense, every pitch seems like it could change the entire game.

 

Duel. And I'm a fan of the AL. There's just something about a pitchers duel that lights my fire.

 

I've come to appreciate what pitchers do over the years. I'll go with the duel.

 

You should not have added the I love both option lol...

I voted for that... But if I really had to choose one or the other, it would much rather be seeing 2 awesome pitchers go head to head and eat batters up.

 

Duel, as someone who pitched all my life I love to see pitchers dominate hitters.

 

Yeah, that was probably a mistake. I should have given voters the tough choice. I love both as well, but would definitely go with pitcher's duel over slugfest.

 

Being a Texas Rangers fan, I see slugfest's all the time... lol... for years now.

It's just sooooo damn boring.

If I had to pick I guess I'd say a slug fest.

1-0 is the biggest reason I can't stand hockey, soccer and baseball.

I hope the Royals do well and MIGHT watch them if they ever make the play offs again, but that's a big maybe...

 

Pitcher's Duel...makes those hits priceless and even more exciting as far as being on the edge of your seat goes...at least for me...

 

Pitcher's duel for me as well. IMO it just makes for a more interesting game.

I picked both because a pitchers duel can be exciting, but a slugfest can be great when the score keeps changing back and forth from inning to inning making the runs very valuable...

 

Doesn't matter to me.

 

slugfest i find pitcher duels very boring.

 

I love both but I'm an old school NL fan so if I had to pick it would be a pitchers duel.
