Among the most intriguing sights of the Dolphins' offseason work was watching 6-4 Ernest Wilford confuse the defense and create mismatches as a tight end. The question is, can he make the team in his new jack-of-all-trades role? Wilford, who had just three receptions for Miami last year after catching 45 passes for Jacksonville in 2007, is excited about his reincarnation. ''It's been interesting,'' Wilford said of playing tight end for the first time. "Defenses don't know if they're going to play me at receiver or tight end. It will create mismatches. I've got to know what I'm doing in protections and the running game. That's the biggest transition. Anything that will help me be a value to this team, I'm willing to do. I'm very confident.''

As long as he can produce, I am all for the change.

Can he block? Could he resist to a bump by the LB in the first 5 yards? :dontknow:

If there was one thing about Jaguar WRs doublec is that they are very skilled blockers, too bad that is the only thing most of them can do well.
