Lions' Drew Stanton Should Settle In As The No. 3 QB

A few months ago, the Detroit Lions said repeatedly they were interested in acquiring a backup veteran quarterback. Now that all the off-season workouts have been completed, it appears the Lions have put those plans on hold. Some of that has to do with the progress of Drew Stanton, but most of it has to do with the development of rookie Matthew Stafford.

Sounds like things are looking up in the D. I hope we can win about 5 games, that would be a big improvement.

I think they could win 2-4. As of today, I can't see them winning anything before their bye week. That's a tough schedule. But I could see them putting something together towards the middle of the season.

Yeah I agree, I just want them to win so bad.

Am I going out on a limb saying they won't have the #1 pick in the draft next season? lol...
