they have no freaking chance at lebron if he leaves cleveland he is going to ny no detiort he miseaswell stay in cleveland detriot is not a bigger market
Yea I know that. But there are a TON of difference making players next year not just lebron. It seems stupid to use up all your cap room this season. Unless it is to add the last peice or two to a championship caliber team. Which to me Detriot is no where near.
it adds alot of versatlitly to go with what they have in stuckey rip and prince it makes them a get out of the first round team again **********Automerged Doublepost********** and they probably don't think they have a legit shot at any of the top flight talent or don't want to put all that money into one player when they got two very good ones instead
LBJ was never coming here he is going to LA or NY for his Nike contract to double by 100 mil i know he hate michigan/detroit but we are a top 10 market in the nation clevland isnt so we are a bigger market which is why we have 4 teams in the 4 major sports and clevland doesnt not to mention you lost your original football team becuase the market was to small the cap goes up next year as well to about 70 mil and we have 10 mil falling off the books so we can still go out and get a max contract player if he wanted to its not about being cheap its about adding quality young players together and building villa is only 24 and gordon is 25 both are coming into there prime
They paid too much for both these guys. Not bad players, but way to much money spent on IMO roll players.
I wouldnt call Gordon a role player. Charlie V really isnt either, altho Im not a huge fan Any player that score 20 a game isnt a role player **********Automerged Doublepost********** As far as the move goes, this gets them closer. I dont think they could beat Boston right now, but i think this could get them to the ECF, and after that who know's. Like Weezy said, the could probobly still get a max next year, and say they can lure Bosh with what they have now. Boston's window may close after this season. If Detroit brings in Bosh, no one in the East will be able to keep them out of the finals
