Packers defensive coordinator Dom Capers feels safety Nick Collins, who has not shown up for most of the team's OTA's this offseason, is behind in his preparation for the upcoming season. Youd always like to have your guys here for every step of the process. Now Nicks been here for the minicamp and I think hes made good progress, the time hes been here. Obviously hes got ground to make up. Hes missed some phases. To me thats something that, hey well come back in here, go to work. Its our job to get Nick ready to play. Collins got testy with reporters when asked if he would spend extra time in his playbook, implying he was behind. Let me get that corrected, correct you all on that, Collins said to the assembled media in the locker room. Ive been in my playbook...I know what Im supposed to do out there. Screw the press, Collins had a legit reason for missing the OTA's, don't really see it as being an issue.
