Attorneys for Travis Henry say the former NFL running back deserves a light sentence in his federal cocaine trafficking case because he was "duped" by friends in the drug trade. Federal agents have described Henry as the "money guy" in an operation that moved cocaine between Denver and Billings before it was busted up last year. His attorneys say Henry was taken advantage of by his co-defendantsat a time when he was under "severe emotional and mental distress" following his release from the Denver Broncos last year. Henry is just another jackass that had life by the short and curly's and threw it all away. Hopefully he gets no sympathy, and is taken out of society for an extended period of time.
So, Henry's next run in with the law, his attorneys are going to say he deserves to get off easy too, right?
He took a plea deal, which I'M sure cuts some of his sentence, and now he wants a another break? Piss off and do your time. 11 lbs of coke.... STFU!
