Cleveland wide receiver/kick returner Joshua Cribbs does not plan to play a game for the Browns under the terms of his current contract. But Cribbs, who has four years remaining on a six-year, $6.7 million contract, hopes a deal can be worked out by the start of the regular season, according to a person with knowledge of the situation. Cribbs representatives are expected to meet with Browns coach Eric Mangini and general manager George Kokinis next week to discuss reworking the contract. Source: NFL.com
Josh Cribbs is a really good player....but he has four years left on a six year deal.....four years!!...did he sign the contract under durress or something. If he snitched with two years left I might get it, but he signed the deal two years ago....shut up and play football man!!
He's lucky he's getting paid what he's getting. For an average kick returner who had one good season returning kicks and is useless as a WR...$1M a year is a pretty sweet deal. Show me some more...than maybe...MAYBE we can talk... You know what, here's another $5M if you catch 50 balls...lol.
