The player who continues to benefit the longer Marshall stays away is Jabar Gaffney. He has been the starter opposite Eddie Royal during minicamps, and knows the offense well from his New England days. Even if Marshall plays with Denver this season, Gaffney could be the third receiver, which has a lot of value in the offense. Source: Colorado Springs Gazette
Gaffney is a good receiver and will do well in that offense, especially with Denver's running game. He's no Brandon Marshall, but he's solid.
It's obviously a huge difference, but if Gaffney has to play WR2 he'll be fine, they'll run the ball and throw short passes to move the chains. And who is Ortman?
Orton, so sorry for spelling. Did I miss a comma? Seriously Brandon Lloyd, and Chad Jackson is better than Gaffney.
Brandon Marshall showed up on camp today. He will take over Gaffeny position. Go Broncos! Make big money and sell energy drinks! Efusjon
