Chiefs Claim QB Matt Gutierrez Off Waivers, Release Ingle Martin

The Kansas City Chiefs have claimed QB Matt Gutierrez off of waivers from the New England Patriots, a league source told Scout.com. To make room for Gutierrez, the Chiefs waived QB Ingle Martin. Interestingly, the New York Jets also put in a waiver claim for Gutierrez, which might suggest they're looking for an upgrade for their No. 3 quarterback job.

Have not heard of KC looking at Vick. If Belichick is doing it, Pioli must be as well...:icon_rolleyes: KC doesn't want him. The only team I've heard with serious interest are the Packers...
