Some of you might have heard that Packers quarterback Brian Brohm is now wearing a glove on his right hand, even in August weather. As it turns out, Brohm said the glove is intended to combat his physiological reaction to the heat. "Basically, I've always had a sweat issue," Brohm said. "I've always had something to keep my hands dry. I've always had some extra towels out there. Last year during the Tennessee [preseason] game ... I had two fumbles on the [final] drive, which I would attribute to sweatiness. There is a new ball out there, and the sweat ... just looking back, I'm trying to find a way to remedy that. "You see Kurt Warner throwing with a glove," Brohm added. "There a few guys in the league that do throw with a glove. I've actually worn it during bowl practice in college. I had some experience throwing with it, I knew I could throw with it. So I went home this summer and tried out a bunch of different gloves. I'm still trying to figure out which glove would be the right glove for me. I don't know if I'll use it in all situations yet. Maybe if it's really hot or really cold, [I'll] put the glove on. I feel comfortable now with or without it. If it's real hot and I'm sweating, I'm going to stick the glove on to throw the football." Source: ESPN.com
