Vikings coach Brad Childress wasn't able to lure Brett Favre out of retirement, and his frustration is already showing. Quarterbacks Tarvaris Jackson and Sage Rosenfels are battling for the team's starting spot. "We have a long way to go in the passing game, a long way. The plan is to get there but I'm not going to say [I'm] pretty happy. I wouldn't classify it that way," Childress told ESPN.com on Thursday. Source: ESPN.com
You sound pretty confident nemesis... It's such a conflict though right now with Childress being brought in to make the team shed it's image of hard core partying athlete rep. Who knows though.
obviously hes upset youve got two no talent hacks trying to win the starting job for a team that has the talent to make a SB run
vick and this team will contend. harvin, vick and peterson is freaking disgusting to defend and vick would love what shianco brings to the table cause it would be alge crumpler v2.0 and he has the arm to get the ball to berrian, harvin, and rice considering they need to defend the run soooo much
He's just frustrated because he has a Madden like hard on for Favre. I can't see Rosenfels being any worse than a 40 year old Favre still trying to figure out an injury to his throwing shoulder.
A long way to go in the passing game? How about a long way to go in the coaching game, and do you honestly think these guys are going to run through walls for you after you had an open affair with Brett F for months? Fortunately for you Childress you wont have to worry about it after you get fired between games 4 and 6.
is it sad that there are possibly 5 good qbs in the nfc north and two of them are backing up aaron rodgers and none of them are on the vikes
I can't believe Minnesota didn't go after Jeff Garcia instead of Rosenfels> Garcia wants to play and would have been the guy to bring the Vikes to the playoffs.
