The Las Vegas entry in the new United Football League will be called the Locomotives. UFL commissioner Michael Huyghue announced the name Monday and unveiled team uniforms of silver, blue and white. Former New York Giants coach Jim Fassel will coach the Locomotives, who will play San Francisco in the league's first game on Oct. 8. Source: Baltimore Sun
I could think of worse names - tho the idea of a pack of trains coming onto the field is rather silly... I mean each one would need its own individual track and a football field is hardly large enough to accomodate 53 sets of train tracks... The Las Vegas Cruise Liners would be even more improbable but then perhaps I've just watched too much Monty Python lately.

You never watch too much Monty Python. :icon_cheesygrin: Is this league really set to start THIS October? Looks like nothing's ready...
