    What about the roster limit? He was never on the roster. He was as free to sign with another team as he should be to sign with eagles

    This happened years ago with Dallas. Bill Bates was hired to help coach the ST, he never filed his retirement papers saying he was thinking about playing one more season. The NFL stepped in and forced him to chose to be either a player or a Coach he could not be both. Which I find as funny since Tom Landry was a player-coach for the Giants.

    Your right Ward as always.... were just two injuries away from signing Todd Pinkston.... boy I'm glad we found a way to cheat the roster limit to keep quality players :icon_rolleyes:
