Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris would need some time to grow accustomed to LB Derrick Brooks, 36, playing in a Saints uniform. Brooks, released by the Bucs in February, impressed Saints coaches at a workout Wednesday but has not been offered a contract. "You're talking about Joe Montana playing for the Kansas City Chiefs," Morris said. "You're talking about Jerry Rice playing for Oakland and Tony Dorsett going to Denver." The Saints are expected to make a decision after Friday's preseason game.

tough crap you cut him, I hope he goes to N.O., I think he can still play

I think the Saints should sign Derrick Brooks. He's not the same player he used to be, but the Saints are short on linebackers, and I think Brooks could help.

He could help with the LB core and maybe give them some more insight into the new coach as well.

Well, if Brooks signs with the Saints, too bad Mr. Morris.

Shre is going to be weird if he does sign somewhere else. But, if DB thinks he can still play and the Bucs don't want him then, good for him. I wish him all the luck in the world.
