Joe Flacco led scoring drives in his first two series of the preseason, and the Baltimore Ravens were off and running to a 23-0 win over the Washington Redskins in the preseason opener for both teams at M&T Bank Stadium. Flacco was a crisp 9-of-15 for 103 yards in his only two series of the game, both of which resulted in Steve Hauschka field goals. "It felt great to be out there," said Flacco. "As an offense, everything felt really good. I was happy with the way our receivers and running backs were moving. Our line did a heck of a job for being their first time out there. I didn't have to do anything but sit in the pocket and make the throws." Redskins starting QB Jason Campbell, meanwhile, was 3-of-6 for 38 yards in his brief time on the field, and did not lead a scoring drive. "We felt good, we felt comfortable," said Campbell. "I thought the offensive line did a good job of protecting....We're still in training camp. Everything we do right now is still for teaching tape and still stuff to improve off of." It hasn`t really been mentioned that the Ravens offense took the most yards (500) while the defense surrendered the fewest (196) of any of the preseason games so far this season - obviously its a thow-away stat, but nice for a Ravens fan to have for discussion.
i was really hammered by the time i got in the game, they're gonna replay it on saturday, think i'll watch sounds like it was a pretty good game...
