Bears rookie strong safety Al Afalava moved around pretty well. Looks like he is on the inside track for a starting job but that means Kevin Payne will be at free safety. Afalava wasn't invited to the NFL Scouting Combine this year but he caught the eye of Bears scouts and they were enamored with him after a private workout before the draft. Say what you will about Jerry Angelo but he is good at finding some hidden gems in the lower rounds of the draft. Solidifying the SS position would be huge.
