Texans defensive tackle Amobi Okoye had a particularly poor effort for the Texans this past Saturday as he and his teammates were pushed around with ease by the New Orleans Saints, allowing 6.4 yards per carry. "It was a rough night for me," Okoye admits. "There are definitely some things I need to work on before the regular season gets here." It was especially discouraging because Okoye is trying to erase the memory of a disappointing 2008 season. "I set a high standard, a high bar for myself, and haven't achieved what I want to this point," he said. Okoye, who turned 22 in June, is about to enter just his third year in the league.

I think he was drafted too young. He was able to advance beyond his age in school, but IMO that did not prepare him for the NFL.
