Bart Scott, who left the Ravens for the Jets this offseason, knocked Baltimore coach John Harbaugh recently. The linebacker claims that new Jets coach Rex Ryan, formerly the defensive coordinator with the Ravens, ran the team. "He was always the head coach," Scott told the Carroll County Times in reference to Rex Ryan's tenure in Baltimore. "He was the head coach of that football team last year, whether you guys know it or not. He kept that team together. The defense leads that team over there, and he controls that defense."

This is just a huffy Bart Scott sticking up for his coach after they got their pants pulled down in their first visit to Baltimore - Scott being Scott.

Bart's hot sauce was great media fodder while in Baltimore. It will only accelerate in New York. Great backer who never turned down a microphone.
