Bears quarterback Jay Cutler's much-anticipated return to Denver featured a lot of boos, animosity and a steady performance by the 26-year-old signal-caller. Cutler was efficient, connecting on 15 of his 21 throws for 144 yards and a touchdown before exiting the game with a 17-3 lead at halftime. Broncos fans continued to make their displeasure with the Santa Claus, Ind. native known by booing Cutler on virtually every play -- even handoffs to running back Matt Forte. I'm pleased with Cutler's body of work tonight. I was really afraid he would come in too jacked up and trying to prove something and end up forcing throws and getting picked. Instead he really seemed to relax and just do his thing. He did not start out great but by the end of the half he had compiled a good night. I also think Kyle Orton did okay tonight but unfortunately for him all the penalties negated that and kept putting him in impossible down & distance scenarios. Hope his passing hand is okay, it just looked like a cut.
What a difference a QB makes...finally. We went from a QB who lives on mostly underneath stuff to one who makes things happen down field & even with his mobility.
Dont get mad at Cutler.. Bronco Fans shoud be asking for McDanels Resignation..... he just traded a Franchise quaterback... what a dumb butt.. you think the chargers are gonna trade Rvers, or the Saints Trade Drew Brees, Patriots trade Brady... or the 49ers trade Joe Montana.. Just because the QB gets upset over something like trade talks..... you have a dumb butt as a coach
