Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams suffered a sprained left shoulder at practice Thursday night, according to multiple sources. He did not suffer a broken bone, but it is not clear how much time Williams will miss. A prolonged absence would be a blow to an offense that is looking to Williams to play a major role. we need depth at WR, bring in Marvin Harrison, Matt Jones, Reggie Williams, and get on the phone with Buffalo. Not that I don't like our WRs as is, but if Roy goes down, we don't have no one to step up and be a #1.
I would wait and see how much time he is going to before I sign someone. If it is just going to be a week or two of the season I am not sure I would sign someone. Harrison is not what he use to be and it would not take much for Jones to be suspended. Either one of those would take time to use to the offense, granted we have the preseason games but if they were signed today I do no think they would suit up for Saturdays game. Most of all do not start talking about Dallas trading for someone. Marshall is a freaking goober and he would want a new contract which Dallas would not be able to do since they are still trying to sign Ware. Dallas just needs to sit and be patent with this and not do any thing crazy. When it gets closer to cut time they might be able to trade or claim someone that could help as much as the others but at a cheaper price.
i wouldnt wait to long.....IMO 2 games int the season is too much we are in one of the best divisions where 2 loses can put you out of contention........dont want to start the season wrong
There is talk that he will play Week 1 and that if the 49ers game was a real one he could have played.
