Veteran free-agent quarterback Brooks Bollinger was signed by the Lions Tuesday as Drew Stanton recovers from an injury to his left knee suffered during Saturday's game against Indianapolis. Bollinger, a sixth-round draft pick of the New York Jets in 2003, was one of three journeyman quarterbacks the Lions brought in for workouts the week before training camp. The others were Cleo Lemon, who signed with Baltimore, and Craig Nall. Source: The Detroit News
this tells me 1 thing stafford is going to be the QB culpepper is going to get cut he has turf toe which means he is going to being feeling it for weeks and on and off the whole season....which means he has no value to us becuase his job was to start the 1st 6 games
I think a team could win a game with Bollinger sooner than they could with Brad Johnson. On that same note you could win a game with a team full of punters before you could with Johnson.
