CB Adam Pacman Jones Agrees To One-Year Deal With CFL

If controversial cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones is going to return to the NFL, it will be via the Canadian Football League. Jones agreed in principle to a one-year deal with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers late Monday night and is expected to join the team as early as Wednesday. "It'll be a good experience for me to get back in game shape and compete and play football, which I like to do," Jones told SI.com. "I'm real happy for the opportunity that's been given to me. Of course it's disappointing to me to not be playing in the NFL. But things happen and you have to adjust. "

Sounds like he's taking the Ricky Williams route. No sympathy here.

Same was said about Ricky Williams...

I think its a good move, lol and he shunned the UFL as well. He could play the rest of the season in the CFL, and if a team is interested he'll be in the NFL early november. Dude is only 25... There's a good chance he could see some playing time on the offensive side of the ball as well... I think he immediately becomes the return man and probably will be the nickel back up there. Lenny Walls will be hard to pass on the depth chart and another ball hawk Jovon Johnson. Great chance for him to showcase his skills.
