Bears running back Kevin Jones, who started Thursday's exhibition against Cleveland with Matt Forte resting, left the game with an ankle injury on the team's second series. He was pushed by Browns cornerback Coye Francies, and then linebacker Marcus Benard hit him late out of bounds for a penalty. But his left leg buckled when he came down before Benard’s hit, and Jones was taken from the sideline to the locker room on a cart. Source: National Football Post
Damn fool, I knew something bad was going to happen as soon as he left his damn feet. I hate being right about this stuff. I hope it's just a sprain, that's what it looked like anyway, so he can be back on the field ASAP.
Shame is that he was running with a bit of authority for a change. I don't know if he was watching old Sweetness videos but that hop, skip, & a jump he kept doing was just a disaster waiting to happen.
