The Cowboys won't declare a winner in the competition between cornerbacks Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick. It's a draw at this point and the competition will continue during the regular season. The coaches have decided that the second-year corners will split time and alternate starts at the beginning of the season.

I have to say that Jenkins has stepped up his game and played very well this preseason. That being said I think Scandrick camp into camp the better CB and is still the better one. Scandrick is better because he was able to play more last year, because he is a great fit at playing inside on the slot WR and Jenkins is not.

Jenkins played well last year though, aside from some momentarily mental lapses. I feel comfortable with either one starting opposite of Newman. I think Jenkins will have more picks this year, the guy has good ball skills.

Jenkins played well last year but Scandrick still out played him. The thing I noticed about the two of them is that Jenkins makes more plays on the ball but Scandrick has fewer thrown at him.

Yeah Manster, I really don't think we could go wrong either one of them starting.
