Tedy Bruschi, who retired last Monday after 13 seasons as a Patriot, will be joining ESPN as an in-studio analyst, according to an industry source. Bruschi will be appearing on NFL Live, SportsCenter, and will also likely be doing interactive chats on ESPN-Boston, the new website expected to be starting up shortly. The former Pats linebacker and defensive captain is expected to start his new job as soon as Thursday.

I think he'd actually make a good analyst. He's got a great football mind and he is much more articulate than some of the dolts ESPN has been hiring...

I agree. He's got a good football mind, and has good communication skills. I really think he'd like coaching better in the future.

I agree TD...I think the Pats should've kept him around the team for coaching purposes...

I'm not sure he would be as interested in coaching as everyone seems to think. Coaches actually put in a lot more time than players and Bruschi is a big time family guy. I think he's going to want to actually spend time with his wife and kids. This TV job should work out well for Tedy
