NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell reiterated the possibility of a NFL team being placed in London during an interview on the "Dan Patrick Show". "It's realistic to me that we would play multiple games in London, regular-season games, maybe as early as next year," Goodell said. "And if that continues to have the same kind of reaction, a team playing in London on a regular basis is a real possibility." London would then be able to bid to host a Super Bowl once a team is placed there.

The jet lag is tremendous. I would be a sever disadvantage to any team that had to travel to London, and a disadvantage to the London team traveling to the U.S.

NFL Europe was already a failure so don't dragging down the NFL by moving teams over there, or trying to let London host a superbowl.

this could happen but it wont happen for many many years Canada then germany will get a team before London

and if they did put a team in London then there would have to be other teams in Europe to balance the schedule

This announcement comes within 24 hours of a new TV deal being released that removes Live Coverage of the London Game on terrestrial TV, Live Preseason, Live NFL Draft, Our choice of two games in the 1PM/4.15PM EST time slot games and all MNF football games.

We lose half of our NFL TV programming yet he's going on about a second game or franchise?

FREAK YOU ROGER GOODELL, GIVE US BACK OUR TV COVERAGE AND TAKE YOUR FRANCHISE & SECOND GAME PROPOSAL WITH YOU.

There are war torn countries who have better NFL coverage than we do in Britain now. Freaking disgraceful.

It was a failure bc the NFL assumed they could bring the NFL 101 to Europe, only with 3rd class college players and a huge player turnover every season. Tags realized it and made some adjustments and the league began to rise. Then Godell appears....

nah, just let the NFL where it belongs - in the USA. Just give us a improved NFLE and -goddammit- ask the European football associations how to do it

What a stupid thought process - if anything Canada would be a viable option but Europe is just silly.

Wow. Why is everyone SO against this. I mean I'm not a supporter per se but I think London would support a team better then some cities that actually HAVE teams now. It's not that much further travel for East coast teams then an East to West coast trip is and it would help further the NFL more in the rest of the world

I don't think so. ppl came from all over Europe, just to see a NFL game. If this becomes regular, the numbers will drop.

Enough came to fill the stadium but did they watch the rest of the season and what of all the millions of others that didn't come?
