Richard Seymour failed to report to Oakland for a second straight day Tuesday after being traded from the New England Patriots. "I really have nothing to report on that," Raiders coach Tom Cable said. "Nothing has changed at this point." Seymour, a five-time Pro Bowl defensive end, was acquired from the Patriots on Sunday in exchange for Oakland's first-round draft pick in 2011. Cable reiterated that he is hopeful Seymour will play for the Raiders but declined to discuss reports the two sides were in talks on a new contract. "I don't want to comment about anything of that until we have something that's done and concrete," Cable said. Source: Associated Press
he doesn't really have a choice, the league will step in at some point, give him 5 days to report and then threaten his free agent status
I think this year is the end of his contract and I believe he wants an extension before he comes aboard.
I heard on espn they were talking about how relocation and stuff would be hard since the kids just starting school and stuff.
At this point a guy that held out two times from a very good team for good money should be a professional and show up. 1st game is on Monday, need him here in the next day or two for him to play. He should realize even if he doesn't show up and the trade is voided that BB will be pist that he lost a chance at a 1st rounder.
