Lions PK Jason Hanson Returns To Practice

    In 17 seasons with the Lions, kicker Jason Hanson missed one game. He sat out at Chicago in 2005 because of a hamstring injury. Hanson is unlikely to miss the opener of his 18th season Sunday at New Orleans. “I think it’s looking optimistic that at least he’ll be able to do field goals, if not everything,â€￾ coach Jim Schwartz said Wednesday.
