PWInsider.com is reporting that a "huge WWE name" is considering joining TNA the person in question is Jim Ross. His contract with World Wrestling Entertainment is set to expire at the end of the year and company officials have yet to offer him a new one. It should be noted however that Ross is considering all of his options and joining TNA is very much a possible scenario he's taking very seriously. He could just as well stay in WWE though. He does usually sound pissed off when commentating and the comments between him and Todd don't come across as the usual banter between commentators.
yeah west was pretty bad. he never seemed to be able to make himself into a true heel announcer. foley would talk all the time about getting ripped in the earpiece by vince almost every week. i heard vince was pretty disgusted by still having to use Ross after he suffered Bells Palsy simply because of the way he looked, but he didn't and still doesn't have anyone as good or better. i didn't believe this at first because i can't see someone being that cruel, but i can see vince being like that. linda must be just as bad to be able to be married to someone like that for so long.
take it for what its worth,cause I got this second hand but my brother in law trained with Val Venus and he said Vince is a cold hearted motherhecker who only cares about ratings and money so if thats true, this Jim Ross thing doesnt surprise me
