ESPN's NFL Countdown has reported that Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Matt Cassel will not play today versus the Baltimore Ravens. Cassel sprained his left knee in Kansas City's pre-season game against the Seattle Seahawks on August 29 and was sidelined until he returned to team practice on Monday. well im sure its going to be Thigpen now. but i would like them 2 throw Brodie out there for a quarter 2. he is taking up a roster spot.
I said from the beginning that Tyler was the best QB against the Ravens. Still not going to be enough.
Brodie was the best in camp. so we throw him out there to get us a few good throws and then he gets hurt. and Tyler can come in and finish.
The one thing that really hurts the Chiefs is that the new QB hasn't really had many snaps at all with the 1st team the past few days.
