It really wasn't a fair quarterback duel between Byron Leftwich and the since-traded Luke McCown this summer. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin encouraged Bucs coach Raheem Morris, a friend, to sign Leftwich, telling him that many Steelers preferred Leftwich to Ben Roethlisberger last season.
