Lets see the almighty Fartve(and I use that term loosly)against the lowly Browns was 14/21 for 110 yds 1TD and sacked 4 times(I loved watching Fartve get sacked)wasn't impressive to say the least. I wonder if the Fartve worshippers will sound like the Grossman worshippers and blame the offensive line,the receivers,the weather ect...:icon_twisted:
Actually Favre did just fine for his first game. He hit several passes that Jackson never would have hit, and was pretty accurate for his first game back. The Browns blitzed like crazy to try and rattle him, and eventually it hurt them as evidenced by AP's 180 yard, 3 TD performance. Favre doesn't have to win every game. Just control the ball, and hit some open receivers on slants if the opposing D stacks the line.
Yes without AP busting lose the Vikes would have been in deep.... That's why I'm suprised Fartve wasn't better with AP getting most of the attention from the Browns D.
I'd like to hear what you think about Crybaby Cutler and his 3 int's at this point of the game! Kind of sounds like throwing stones while living in a glass house to me. :icon_cheesygrin:
The same as I think about Grossman. I'm not a homer/excuse maker like most/all Fartve lovers/worshippers. Cutler's really freaking up bigtime throwing to the packers with no Bears in the area. You woun't hear excuses from me like you do when Fartve hecks up. I'll bet this isn't what you were hoping for...better luck next time.
I was giving you crap because you came out ripping on Favre when he had a pretty decent game, and did what the Vikings needed him to do. You were hoping he had a bad game, but he didn't, so you tried to make something out of nothing. It seems like your judgement is clouded by the fact that you obviously hate him so much. Which I can understand, because hell I used to be there too, albeit for different reasons. I just thought it was pretty funny to see someone hating on Favre, when Cutler is big drama case as well and played 10X worse.
