Michael Lombardi of the National Football Post reports the 49ers will monitor the Michael Crabtree situation and be on guard for any team that may tamper with Crabtree or his agent, Eugene Parker. Adding to his decision to not play, Crabtree can’t work out or talk to any team until the week before the draft next year. There have been rumors that two teams have asked the 49ers about Crabtree's availability.

That's stupid since the 49ers can't trade him anyway...

Who wants to tamper with that idiot? He is so screwing himself.

I believe that Coach Singletary has the 49ers moving in the right direction. They just need to take the high road and stick to their guns. They gave Crabtree a fair offer. It sucks that the 49ers may have lost a 1st round pick, but they will overcome this.
