    Crowned Doesn't give a shit.

Eagles will run the ball plenty and be successful, and the defense will do just fine against the rushing attack and pressure Brees easily. But with all that said I think the Saints will still eek out a win, simply because Eagles won't have McNabb.

    31-27 N.O.

this would have been the game of the week if not for the injury to mcnabb. the eagles are going to slow the game down with kolb though so it wont be as much fun.

This will be a scoring contest, Brees is gonna be a stud.

    35-31 Saints.

I dont see it being that high our defense is pretty nasty and we wont score that many with kolb at qb.

youre right bib. reid will draw up a game plan that will bring this game to a screeching halt. if mcnabb was in there, it would be a 70+ point total. Under the circumstances, if they break 50, I will be surprised.

Philly has QB issues, the Saints defense is improved, & Brees is on a roll. Gotta go with the Saints!

If this game is in New Orleans, I think the Saints destroy the Eagles without McNabb. Being that it is in Philly and the Birds home opener, I think they ride the momentum of the Panthers game and win this one late...on the arm of Jeff Garcia's late game heroics. Then the drama begins...

I dont know much about the eagles other then they are a pretty solid team all around. Apparently Mcnabb is hurt... didnt know that. Een though the Eagles have a good D I dont think Brees can be stoped so easily.... hes good at getting the ball in tight openings... but time will tell should be a good game, saints defence has imporoved over the years...

    I pick saints to win.

I know Brees is a fantasy god and all that but they still lost a crap ton of games last year with basically the same offense. IF our Def is as inspired as I think they are then we can keep them undercontrol enough that a run heavy offense w/ Westbrook, Weaver, McCoy will win this game. I'm thinking 24-20

True Brees is just a regular guy and can be stoped but saints have develped a more agressive defence and offence and I think they will be a team that wont easily be stopped, but the same goes for the Eagles.... the game could go either way but with McNabb out I think Saints will take this game.

The Lions scored 27 points against the Saints.

That is more points than they scored any game last year.

The Saints will probably win this, but you guys gave up that many points to the worst team in the NFL and you are going to be playing a top 5 defense, not the bottom of the pack.

    Hopefully it's at least competitive.
