According to ProFootballTalk.com, Week one of this young NFL season has brought in $280,000 worth of fines levied by the NFL or clubs. There have been $155,000 worth of fines levied by the league or clubs this week alone. They get the personal foul penalty on the field and maybe ejected from the game if it doesn't stop and that should be it. Any further punishment should be by the team IF needed. What a bunch of greedy bastards.:icon_frown:
Where is all this money going? It damned well better be going to support childrens football leagues or something along those lines because most of these fines are presented as being to 'keep the game team oriented and safe to set an example for children'.
Should go to the retired NFLers who are crippled & maimed & what this business was built on. The same ones who were paid a few hundred/thousand a game & then let out to pasture...:icon_frown:
