Electric receiver and returner DeSean Jackson didn't play after the beginning of the fourth quarter when his groin, flaring all week, finally cost him playing time. Eagles coach Andy Reid said of Jackson's injury, "I think we'll be fine there." Jackson, meanwhile, was less certain. After the game, limping through the locker room with the affected area packed in ice, Jackson was asked by a reporter if he would be able to practice this week, he muttered, "I can't answer that. It's still Sunday." Source: Philadelphia Daily News
With all these key Eagles gimping around, the game against the Chiefs next week is actually starting to look competitive.
this can not be. it will kill us if he goes down which is always going to be a worry at his size. hope he's ok.
maybe philly fans can give some input on this ................. does anyone question the strength/conditioning for the eagles? year after year, they face more 'nagging' type injuries than almost any other team in the league. problem or not? truth or fiction?
I think its just freak accidents really. It happens to every team there on our injury report but they dont miss alot of games.
I thought last year they were pretty damn healthy? Not counting Westy Wests usual nags through the season. If you want to question conditioning go check the Giants injury reports since OTA's till now... it's truly alarming.
you'd have to show me where the eagles show a history of leading the league in these nagging injuries to think there's an issue.
ok, it must be my imagination. maybe it just appeared that way to me because i traditionally have mcnabb, westbrook, and now desean on my fantasy team and i seem to have to sub for them quite often.
