The San Francisco 49ers have reportedly filed tampering charges against the New York Jets, relating to the holdout of rookie wide receiver Michael Crabtree. The 49ers may believe the Jets contacted Crabtree's agent, Eugene Parker, to let him know they'd be interested in trading for his rights, or in drafting him in 2010 with a better salary than San Francisco is offering. The Jets, through a team spokesman, denied the allegations. Source: New York Daily News
If true, the Jets would have one of the dumbest front office ever. At least top 3, since Matt Millen era is an undisputable #1
i've heard this in a few different spots so there may be some truth to it. that takes some balls to do something like this and the jets will get hit pretty hard.
