Terrell Owens' new team, the Buffalo Bills, won on Sunday afternoon while his old team, the Dallas Cowboys, lost on Sunday night and Owens made it home in time not just to watch the Cowboys lose, but to go on Twitter to take a shot at his old quarterback, Tony Romo. Owens re-tweeted a message originally written by someone on Twitter named Deidric McGowan, saying, "Dallas just found out they had a T.R. problem not a T.O problem !!" The comment was obviously a reference to Romo's 13-of-29, 127-yard, three-interception effort in a loss to the Giants. Source: NFL Fanhouse
That was a good game, probably my two least favorite teams. Romo threw interceptions, the Giants couldn't find the endzone. Cowboys lose their home opener in the newest "man made wonder of the world." It was win win.
um, the Giants game-planned to stop the cowboys passing game first and foremost. they were dropping their lb's on almost every snap and had 5 or 6 db's on the field a lot. let's keep in mind that the giants DO still have one of the better defenses in the nfl and they were NOT going to let the cowboys beat them in the air. romo could have played better but most of what happened was due to the giants purposely stopping the pbutt. once they figured it out, the cowboys ran the ball down their throats because the giants were focusing SO hard on stopping the pbutt. i think everyone needs to chill out and see how romo looks when a team is respecting their run game again.
Hey you shut up. Philips is doing a fine job out there in Dallas. They'd be crazy not to keep that fat heck. :icon_cheesygrin: Gotta luv me some TO! Gitcho popcorn ready! TWEET TWEET!
I would love to bash TO for being an Butthole but he might be right. I could handle when Romo would scramble and buy time and try to make a play, more times than not he did. But last night he was not under a lot of pressure and he had the WRs open he just made some bad throws. You can teach some one to read a defense but when you throw the ball that far off nothing good is going to come from it.
romo had one good week then one bad one... lets see how he does next week....but the quote was funny lol
