Bears LB Hunter Hillenmeyer Settling Into New Role

For one game, at least, the Bears didn't miss their defensive leader all that much. That's because Brian Urlacher was cheering on the sidelines, and Hunter Hillenmeyer stepped in for the injured middle linebacker and got the job done. Hillenmeyer finished with four tackles and even looked a little like Urlacher when he broke up a Ben Roethlisberger pbutt.

I thought I remember this guy filling in decent enough for Urlacher before.

 

Hunter's a very sharp guy & did fill in admirably in the past. He's a grinder that makes the most of his limited talents but ones that have dropped off a little in the last year.
